We all accumulate data and keep it on our hard disk. Some of the data may be invaluable and you may have put on hours and hours of work on to it. I recently read a blog post which really made me think. I have lost a drive in the past and it contained all the photos which i had taken with my first camera. Lots of memories got buried down.
